Attack Attribute】aka "Element"】
攻撃属性
Each Unit has a certain attack attribute, and each attack attribute is compatible with other attributes in different ways.

Because of this, a certain Unit can stand a better chance at causing great damage to an opponent.
For example, a Harpy, which is wind-elemental, will do better damage on a Goblin, which is earth-elemental.

【Bases】
拠点
The map contains cities, castles, ruins, etc., which either belong to your army, belong to the enemy army, or are neutral.

You can use a Human Unit to occupy an enemy or neutral base, making it your own. The more bases you have, the more Mana you get per turn.

Also, when a Unit stays in a base, HP and status can recover.

You can sometimes receive items or helpful information in a base.

【Land Characteristics】
【地性】
Land Characteristics and topography are as important as Units' attributes.

"Land Characteristics" are the attributes/elements of different units in regard to the area around them. For example, Harpies are wind-elemental, as are forest areas. When a Harpy is in a forest, it will have a defense boost and will be able to use special skills.

【Human Units】
【Ningen-Kei Units】
【人間系ユニット】
There are many kinds of Units, but only Human Units can occupy bases.

Units of the Soldier group, the Monk group, the Magician group, and the Thief group are all Human Units.

【Party Formation】 【aka "Party-ization"】
【Party-ka】
【パーティ化】
Up to three Units can combine into a party and will travel and fight together.

Of course you can split a party up after its been joined.

【Phases and Turns】
【フェイズ & ターン】
During your own turn, you may act on the enemy freely. A phases is the turn belonging to a specific Unit. (After moving, attacking, etc., the Unit cannot act again until your next turn begins.)

【Mana】
【マナ】
Mana is used for HP recovery and summoning Units.
The amount of Mana received per turn depends on the number of Bases that belong to you.
